Question Intrusion Prevention System

I have already developed firewall through IPTables on my machine........

Now I wanna move for Intrusion Prevention System (IPS)

What I wanna know is what tools are available for IPS as IPTables are available for Firewall......

And provide me some links for its tutorials.......
