intrepid gnome desktop
 
Hi gang got a little problem.

I have been fidling with networking and things recently.

In the top right hand corner of the screen is usually my log on name.
it has vanished :( any ideas how I can get it back pls

Desktop version? Gnome, KDE?

If you have got Gnome

Right click on panel > Add to panel > User switcher.

You will get it back.
