internet does not work??configuring xubuntu network? new dsl connection..

I recently went with a new internet service provider,i have a dual boot system,my windows connection is up and running ,however i cannot get connected on xubuntu??..I have dial up dsl service,what do i do to configure my network in xubuntu?
thanks alot..I want my xubuntu back!!!!!!!!!

What do you mean dial-up DSL? Do you mean PPPoE? What is the configuration in WinDuhs?

Set up the correct IP address for you Xubuntu.
Use this tool
rp-ppoe that is available at www.linuxdrivers.org to dial dsl connection.
It is a pretty good tool for dial up dsl connections available for linux.
This could help you.
