Internet connects (can ping) but Mozilla cannot see
 
I can dial into the Internet, but Mozilla cannot resolve any of the addresses.

Any suggestions please.

Are you pinging by hostname or IP?

If it's IP you need to add a nameserver to your /etc/resolv.conf

nameserver on /etc/resolv.conf is usually autogerated by dchcpd but if is not working/assigning you can hardcode 4.2.2.2 ;)
