internet connection troubles
 

ok i set up fedora 8 and everything.. it loads up fine... it sys that the wired connection is established... but when i try to get on the web it says that server cannot be found... i have verizon dsl and the ehternet box connects to a linksys router and then the router connects to my computer someone please help me becuase i know my internet works and the router does to becaseu i also have my laptop connected wireless and it works fine...

Is your box receiving an IP from the router's DHCP daemon?

Are you able to ping the router from the box?

idk what that is... im not very good with computers when it comes to this stuff... im really good with programs but not the internet
