i have prob. in kppp program . the errore massage ..
timeout expired while waiting for ppp interface to come up
my comp. is p4 2.8 - 512 RDram- external us robotics serial faxmodum in port dev/tts/0
plz. i need your help i use arabian , knoppex3.8 ,suze , adios and linus xandros all distreputions have the same massage errore after coplete dialup the no. and waiting to log in to network

You might want to look at a different modem. Me and a lot of other people have had those problems with the USR modems. I never did get mine to work right with Debian, Mandrake, FC4 or even Win XP. I fought it for about 2 months and gave up on it.
