Internet conection , Suse 10.2

Hi, I am new to Linux. I am in the UK and Pipex is my ISP.

I have installed Linux Suse 10.2 from a DVD onto my computer, the install went OK, every thing seems to working fine, until I try to connect to the internet. I have connected my Speedtouch wireless DSL modem via an ethernet cable to the computer, when I try to connect to the internet I can see the lights flashing on the modem and the last light stays RED, meaning there is a log on or password failure, and the window opens saying that the internet connection failed. I can not find where to manually put my user name and password for the ISP.
Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers Frank

I'm not familiar with your setup but I would try "YaST", "network", and then click on DSL Modem and see if it detects your modem and gives you a setup.

Thanks Larry,

I followed your instructions and also configured the Speedtouch modem and got online straight away.
