Internet Answering machine

I'm on dial up and my provider is .I totally went to linux but now find myself having to dual boot with xp for the following reason.I had family move in with me and my provider has a internet aswering machine where when online with windows a box pops up on my screen allowing me to ignore the call and stay online.I can answer which disconnects me or choose to play a message.I have to use windows when cruising so that calls if important can get through for the other members of the house. As far as I go well they will call back.Does anyone know of a program I could run under linux that would do the same so that i can get rid of this nitemare they call windows.Thank You
