Internal Modems wit built-in support for linux


Hi........

I am planning on to buy an Internal modem ........
what modem has got a built-in support from linux ....... particularly latest kernels or distros.

I am asking this coz i heareed most are winmodems........

Just make sure its a hardware or controller based modem read the specs carefully. after you get it google up the setserial command if your distro fails to set it up automatically.

u didn mention if its internal/external so i assume u saying internal.............
