Hi, I will need help on step by step installation of Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG on slackware 12.1 with dell inspiron 6400. Thank you.

If you did a full install of Slackware, it is likely that the card already works. The stock kernel in Slackware 12.1 has the iwl3945 driver as a module and a full install would have installed the firmware needed. There have been some reports in the Slackware forum about problems, but it also seems that a number of people have it work straight away.
