intel etherexpress pro/10 lan adapter card (isa) cannot be connect to the internet???

Hi benjibabe, Welcome to lq. You might try modprobing with the IO and IRQ parameters.

Code:

modprobe driver io=0xXXX irq=XX

Where driver is the module you need to load, 0xXXX is the input/output address, and XX is the irq

If you don't know the io address and/or IRQ try:

modprobe eepro autodetect=1

I have the same card and that works fine, though it says autodetection isn't recommended on ISA boards.

Thanks for the suggestions! I tried Fadoski's (modprobe eepro autodetect=1) and it worked. I'm on the internet so I quit while ahead. Thanks again for the help and as I learn about DSL I'll feel confident about getting help when I need it.
