im on suse 9.2 and having exactly the same wireless problem with browneyes.
i did what mdj said and what browneyes applied :) but with no luck, it didnt seem to work. the problem i have is so strange to me, when i type ifdown eth0 (wired -on boot) ifup eth1 (wireless - manual) it says no configuration found for eth1
any1 has an idea on this issue?

it this is the problem (the configuration not found) i dont understand that. i configured my wireless millions of times.
could any1 please help me out on this.
my wireless is wlan0 now, i got it recognised by driverloader.
when i type 'ifup wlan0' it says 'no ip adress yet'
any help?
it was on eth1 first, when i got it recognised by driverloader it became wlan0
oh man im so stuck here. i spent 2 frigging weeks to get this thing work out. i read everything related to this issue, but still no luck..
