installins Samba on Fedora 9.0
 
I installed samba on fedora 9.0 using the following command

yum install samba

It got completed , how ever I am not sure why I can not see it under System administrations. or under add / remove programs?

Have you actually gone through and CONFIGURED Samba yet? Run it? Installing it is step one.....

Check Google for more info on how to configure it for your environment. You don't say anything about what you're trying to do, so we can't give you specifics.

configuring samba on fedora 9.0
 
I am trying to have it part of a workgroup. I have 2 windows xp computers and one mac. I like to have all of the part of same network.

Should work fine...check the documentation link I sent you, or alot of the other docs you can find on Google, that describe how to do this.
