installing Zend Optimizer got error

Hi to all im running slack 10 and im installing php and Zend Optimizer.
but then i encountered this error, what this mean?
root@Trinity:/usr/local/src/ZendOptimizer.2.3/# ./
./ line 95: ./php : cannot execute binary file.

the file was really existing. what could be wrong? pls help..

I'm a n00b, so don't pay attention if I'm missing something, but I think it is trying to execute 'php'. Is php installed? If so, is 'php' in your PATH?
