Installing xubuntu

I have just burned the ISO disc of xubuntu. How do I now install it on my system running Win XP pro.

Boot from CD/DVD
(adjust bios settings if necessary)
Install

The install will offer to adjust the partitions for you.

To be safe, back up crucial data from your Windows install first.

Thank you for the answers I have now installed xubuntu on my 1999 old clunky P2 and am playing with it .... Johnny O
