Installing XINE on YDL (red hat)

I'm trying to install Xine on PPC with Yellow Dog Linux (a Red Hat flavor). I've dowloaded all the packages and need to install them but seem to be missing the program to do it.

I'm kinda used to the YaST interface on SuSE. I was hoping there was some kind of GUI for installing with YDL. If not, could you kindly point me to a tutorial?

Not sure about a GUI, but on rpm-based distros, you can install packages with "rpm -i <package>".

For installing or updating packages from repositories with dependency resolution, Yellow Dog comes with Yum (see this page or the Fedora tutorial). Yum is a command-line tool; there are several GUIs for it, but all of them are for Fedora Core and none of them come with Yellow Dog: Yum Extender, KYum, Cobind Yumgui.
