At the command line type
rpm -Uvh filename.rpm
This will either install it, or print dependancies to the screen that need to be installed first. Check out fedorafaq.org or dag.wieers.com, they both have excellant support and programs for Fedora. Yum is also great, and is explained further at fedorafaq.org
