Installing Ubuntu on Toshiba Satellite P200 PSPB6C-BW508C
 

I have searched the forums for similar threads before posting this one, but with no luck. I'm having difficulty finding drivers for, well, everything! Toshiba's website conveniently doesn't support my model of laptop - no drivers at all!

I've never used Ubuntu before and am new to Linux. If anyone can help me install this, it would be greatly appreciated.

We are going to need some more specific problems. What drivers can you not get? What is not working? Have you booted into the LiveCD environment yet? Have you tried running the installer?

Sorry for the wait.
I have not tried to install Ubuntu yet. I posted this question because I want to know exactly what I'm going to need in order to complete a successful install. I don't think I'm going to be able to find my Toshiba laptop drivers on Toshiba's website...at least not ones for Linux! I just want to know exactly what I'm going to need in order to be prepared. Not necessarily drivers, but justt information about my system in general that I should write down.
