Installing Ubuntu on MK802

Hi friends .....

I have an MK802.It comes default with android pre loaded on it, but I want to have ubuntu also. The MK802 has a microSD card slot. If i have put a bootable copy of ubuntu on that and bot ubuntu from SD card then my adroid is replaced ? and if i remove the SD card then is it take android ?
Any idea ?

Putting Ubuntu on the sdcard is the preferred way.. When you boot off the sdcard, your android operating system with be unaffected. When you remove the card android will bootup as normal..
