Installing Ubuntu 9.10 on Windows7 and Snow Leopard

Hello:

I read the responses below advising to install Windows XP first before installing Linux. Does this apply to Windows 7 and Snow Leopard as well? If I make my own partition for Linux on the Windows 7 hard drive do I need Wubi?

Same question for Snow Leopard. Is Fink the equivalent of Wubi which allows you to install Linux within the Snow Leopard OS? If that is the case, if I had seperate partitions for Snow Leopard and Linux do I need Fink?

Is there a way to run multiple operating systems on one hard drive other than a dual boot. Can I run more than two operating systems on one hard drive? I am trying to learn linux and use Windows and Snow Leopard. I want to try many of the various distros of Linux but the only way I have found to maximize my hard drives is to put two os's on each one and use multiple hard drives with a SATA switch. I have only found a three position SATA switch which max's out with three hard drives unless you manually switch power between the primary 3 hdd's and a secondary set of three hdd's.

Thanks for the help

*Windows 7 would be the primary os on one hard drive and Snow Leopard would be the primary os on a second hard drive.
