Installing Ubantu On Ibm Thinkpad 600e Laptop

I have an IBM Thinkpad 600E Laptop and have erased the hard drive with Dariks boot and nuke. I now want to install Ubantu. I have the CD and when I try installing it comes up with Ubantu and when I select install I get the following:
System TP600E Revision 0x105 has a knwon ACPI BIOS proble
Incorrect ADR This is a non recoverable error
BIOS ae 1999 fails cut off 2000 acpi=force is required to enable ACPI
invalid compressed format
Kernel panic not syncing VFS Unable to mount roost fs on unknown block (104,1)
Can anyone help please

Theres option to install ubuntu with other options provided to kernel.
Try to boot by providing noacpi option while booting.
Or you can also give acpi=force as given in the error message.
