Installing themes/icons etc using the command line?
I have Redhat 9.0 and each time I try to install a theme or new icon pack it simply does not work. I get a "busy" cursor for a split second than nothing.
I was wondering how to do this in the command line, as it obviously isn't working for me using the GUI (Gnome) Many thanks |
I have had a lot of issues running gnome, try KDE. I think it runs a lot smoother. If your system keeps hanging when you try to set configurations, you probably have a driver issue, or perhaps not enough memory to run in GUI mode. As far as a CLI way to set GUI settings, Im not aware of any.
