I have a linux distribution which is made from scratch, as the distribution is made from scratch it has minimal tools and no compilers, i want to install tcc(tiny c compiler) or any small c compiler on it.
iam new to cross compiling and have no idea about it, iam not sure weather cross compiling is to be used.
can anybody tell me how to go about it ??

It depends, how much do you know about building a linux system from scratch and how familiar are you with compiling programs? You would generally use whatever method you used with the rest of the system you already have in place.

I recommend doing a ground up installation to just about everyone who wants to know the os inside out... once they're up to speed and running on an existing distribution, it's very hard to go from no knowledge of linux to building a system ground up and not encounter terminal problems or spend a lot of time flustered.
