Installing SSL on dedicated server?
 
We have a dedicated server running redhat enterprise 5, but how do we setup SSL on it?

Im familiar with setting up SSL on shared hosting through the control panel (i.e plesk, cpanel etc), but have no idea where to start on dedicated server as i only have Matrix CP and direct access.

Any step by step advice would help.

When you say setup SSL, what are you trying to do?

If you just want to install the package, use yum or up2date to install openssl

Hi,

Install SSL certificate to verify onsite credit card transactions, at the moment we utilise geotrust through our shared host, and they asked us to generate a code using plesk to setup the SSL certificate, however we cannot do this on our dedicated server so wondered how we would install it.
