Installing Software


Hi I am using Ubuntu,but I dont have Internet connection,I would like install software by downloading from browsing Center(Running Windows)
is it have any way?

Yup:
Go to Ubuntu packages site, put the name of the package you want to install in the search field, select the Ubuntu version you are running and hit enter, the page you will be directed to will give a link to download the package as well as a list of packages required to be installed as dependencies. To find which packages are installed, run command: dpkg --get-selections | less
