Installing Slax 6.1 on hdd

Is there any way to install slax on the hard drive. I tried extracting the iso contents to drive c: and then using grub tried to run it as I run other puppy distros. But it loads and reaches a point and I get a message "looking for live cd" and then I get a message "something went wrong, this should not happen, press ctrl+alt+del to reboot".

Hi and welcome to LQ!
Have you already here, or here, or again here?

As you see, it's quite complicated because Slax isn't intended to be installed. So you complete the obstacle course, and then there's a new version and you do it all over again. If you want a Slackware-based distro with the KDE desktop, Salix would be less trouble in the long run.
