Installing Scientific Linux on Secondary Slave HD

I have a primary master and a secondary slave on my PC. On the Primary Master i have installed Windows Vista and I want to install Scientific Linux on Secondary slave. I did it but GRUB didn`t launch at Pc`s boot....neither Vista. Do I have to install GRUB on MBR of Primary Master or I can`t install Linux on Secondary Slave???

Thank You!

You can install Scientific Linux on the secondary hard drive. In order to be able to boot it on the second drive, you will need one of the following (and only one):
1) make a boot floppy or boot cd to boot Scientific Linux, and install grub to the root partition (not the MBR).
2) install grub in the MBR, and use grub to select either Scientific Linux or Vista to boot.
3) configure Vista's ntldr to boot either Vista or Scientific Linux.

I`ve allready installed grub on the secondary slave but it doesnt appears when I boot the PC

Grub needs to be in the MBR of the primary master drive with the remainder of grubs files on the secondary drive (in the Linux partition). The /boot/grub/menu.lst file contains the menu entries for Vista and Linux.
