Installing RPMs without repo?


Hello, Is it possible to install a RPMs without having a repo I just want to copy a RPM to memory stick and I don't have internet to no repo's, can't i just install it

heh how times change, you had little choice than to do it this way 2 or 3 years ago....

rpm -ivh whatever.rpm

will do it.

Thanks, I found a old thread with "rpm -gpR <filename>" but it wouldn't work thanks

well that's not a command to install an rpm, so you were misreading what the thread was about i guess.
