installing RHL 4 on dell optiplex 755


Hi All ,

I need to install Redhat linux 4 on a dell optiplex 755 . after the installation the network card did not work . After checking some of the other memebers posts I downloaded and intsalled the e1000 driver but it still does not work !! .

Can anyone help in this . Attached is the output from the lspci command .

When I needed to do this, I found it was easier to
install a supported network card and use it instead
of the one that came with the system. A second
benefit of doing this is that you'll have two NICs
available after you get the e1000 working.
