Installing RH9 on AMD AthlonXP 1700+
 

I'm helping a friend install RH9 but he keeps getting an error "SYSTEM FAILED CPU TEST". I'm not sure why this is happening or what can be done about it. Please help me out, thanks.

Could you be a bit more specific? Where in installation is this occuring? Have you ever had a linux distro on that computer before, and if yes, did it install OK?

Also, did you verify the validity of the ISO's (if you d/l-ed RH9)?
