Installing RH 7.0 on a Jump drive (problem)

All right here's my question, I'm a student in lab were we load Linux 7.0 off the server, partitions are cleared and reset to DOS. The Linux install CD is saved to the D: drive and thus we go from there on every box. My plan, is to move the 7.0 install CD to my thumb zip drive. (yet DOS doesn't recognize the driver). Then save it to my home desktop hard drive, and then clear the thumb drive and make it a bootable with the Linux kernel (sys files). Once I have the thumb drive bootable, I'll create a boot floppy to load the thumb drive.

So problem, I need to copy the driver to a floppy (which will not fit on a floppy) And DOS doesn't recognize the drive so I need to install (upgrade to w2k pro and then load the install CD from drive d: to the thumb drive) Once I get that on the thumb drive then I'll save it to my desktop, install Linux and create mount point to load the Linux boot files (kernel and such). Does this sound like it will work?
I still haven figured out how to get DOS to read a plug and play device, other then resetting the IRQs and going from there?:study:

thanks
