Installing Real Player

Have dowloaded Real Player from the Web - it has arrived as a .bin file - can anyone help me to install this - I am going round in circles and getting absoluteley nowhere !!!!!!!!!!!!

try this

#chmod +x filename.version.bin

#./filename.version.bin

hope it works if not then send full file name

Do a file filename.version.bin first and see what the output is.
You might be dealing with an archive or something, the .bin extension doesn't say much on Linux.
According to file's output, take the appropriate actions (unarchiving or executing..).

Hi Guys - this is the one - does everything - a version available for UBUNTU - repositories etc - install very easy.I have forgotten all about Real player !!
