Installing printer problem with Linux Mint 19.2 Cinnamon

I am planning to install Linux Mint 19.2 (Cinnamon) in the near future. (I am currently using Windows 7.) My printer is a Canon Pixma MG2200 (Note: It is not 2220.) A friend who is currently using Linux Mint 19.2 checked for me, and he said that that is not one of the printers listed. So, how do I get my printer up and running once I install the 19.2?

There are Deb packages the should work on Mint. Look in the Mint system before you spend time downloading and installing the .deb package from Canon. It may come with the correct driver.
