installing printer in linux

just got a nwe printer hp 845c
but i'm not able to install it in linux

problem printing
 

i reciecve the foll print msg whenever i try to print

A print error occured. Error message received from system:

/usr/bin/lpr -P 'hp' '-#1' '/tmp/kde-shobhit/kdeprint_7oKPNQL' : execution failed with message:
Status Information: sending job 'shobhit@localhost+45' to hp@localhost connecting to 'localhost', attempt 1 cannot open connection to localhost - No such file or directory Make sure the remote host supports the LPD protocol and accepts connections from this host and from non-privileged (>1023) ports


how do i correct this ]
