Installing postgresql in a VPS server - cannot find 'createlang' command
I recently successfully installed from tar package the latest version of postgresql with phpPgAdmin in a VPS hosting server. It is working as I can see the test DB and can create new ones in phpPgAdmin. Now I need to run 'createlang' command to add a procedural language to the database to be able to install MySourceMatrix CMS. But the problem is whenever I run the 'createlang' script I get the shell responding as 'command not found'. Can anybody tell me what is happening?
I thought 'createlang' is inherent in the linux but it seems that this script needs to be installed first. My hosting provider does not provide support for postgresql - so I am of my own. The OS my hosting provider is using is RHEL (They would not say which version).
I would really appreciate any help to get around this problem.
