Installing pidgin and wine on RHEL 6.3 Work Station

I am trying to install pidgin and wine on RHEL6.3 WS and am having some issue. [root@RFCHPCPRXY wtadmin]# yum install wine Loaded plugins: product-id, refresh-packagekit, rhnplugin, security, : subscription-manager Updating certificate-based repositories. Unable to read consumer identity Setting up Install Process No package wine available. Error: Nothing to do [root@RFCHPCPRXY wtadmin]# yum install pidgin Loaded plugins: product-id, refresh-packagekit, rhnplugin, security, : subscription-manager Updating certificate-based repositories. Unable to read consumer identity Setting up Install Process No package pidgin available. Error: Nothing to do I did try to add a centos repo as per some reading I did. [root@RFCHPCPRXY wtadmin]# rpm -Uhv http://apt.sw.be/redhat/el5/en/x86_6....rf.x86_64.rpm Retrieving http://apt.sw.be/redhat/el5/en/x86_6....rf.x86_64.rpm warning: /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.nSTCdL: Header V3 DSA/SHA1 Signature, key ID 6b8d79e6: NOKEY Preparing... ########################################### [100%] 1:rpmforge-release ########################################### [100%] not sure what that really did. Any direction would be helpful. |
You can get pidgin from CentOS and Wine from EPEL.
