Installing OS in VMware from a folder

Hi All,

Am having RHEL OS in a folder. Not able to make that as .iso file or copy it in a CD. So it is possible to install the OS in VMWare from a folder ??

With mkisofs you can make a boot cd/dvd out the os folder and use that generated iso as cdrom drive in vmware.

Or one better, select all the files, right click, and click "Add to archive", select ISO, and let it rip. Should work in GNOME and KDE.

I doubt you can take a folder and make it into a bootable iso. I don't know exactly what you have either.

Contact Red Hat for assistance.
