Angry installing oracle over redhat 7.2


Hi to every one here. I am new to linux and have installed linux 7.2 which is running postgresql. But actually i want to install oracle on that machine. plz tell me what oracle version is best for 7.2. And how can i install, compile and configure that oracle cuz i have heard its not a pieace of cake.

it depends on the use and the hardware:
If it is for 'home' use and/or on small hardware, stay with Oracle8.
If else, go for Oracle9.
