Installing Oracle 9.2: runInstaller gives Segmentation Fault

Am I running out of memory? I have 256MB RAM and 512 MB swap.

Sorry I am new to linux. Does a segmentation fault mean I am running out of memory or something?

Thanks indeed for any help

As said in the other post, and after a quick search, oracle looks like it takes a bit to install and you will need to read the appopriate articles on the oracle-base site. They look quite detailed and step by step. Just seem to need to know versions and stuff and then get the appropriate article...

Should give some ideas anyway.

ok thanks. I will avoid repeat posts, although I was trying to be specific on the error message rather than the task. Anyway thanks I'll look at the oracle base.
