Installing openssh

I'm trying to install openssh.
I have downloaded the most recent rpm from openssh.com but it was only for redhat. I am running Mandrake. it gave me a way to rebuild it for Mandrake but when I tried it gave me an error about needing gnome-lib-devel to do it. I did not install the gnome development libraries and I know not how to do that (I just recently figured out how to mount my cdrom)
I tried just installing the rpm but it then tell me I need libcrypto.so.2 which I assunme is part of the gnome delelopment libraries??
I have all three Mandrake 8.1 disks but I know not which one has it's openssh version nor what the file is called. Any help would be appreciated..

it's on cd1, called openssh-server-x.y.z.rpm

use the Software Manager (rpmdrake) it'll already know what's on those cd's and will ask you to put the right one in the drive. very clever
