Installing OpenOffice on Slax/BackTrack2

Hi guys,

I'm trying to install the above and have been using the installpkg tool as instructed by the download page - it seems to run ok but then I do not get any startmenu items to launch the apps? Amy ideas?

have you logged out and back in after the install? Sometimes the start menus don't update until you log back in.

I don't think Slackware style packages necessarily mess with any menus since the menu system is dependent on the GUI you run.
