Installing on Gateway M285-E tablet

Has anyone tried to install Fedora on a tablet pc. I'm thinking of trying this and wondered in anyone had any success with it

Welcome to Linux, tjmac19! I see this is your first post and your indicated OS is Windoze. Viewing the specs on your machine, I see no reason installing most any linux distro would present a problem. The biggest problem in doing so I have seen lies in obtaining a clean install initially.

To do so requires wiping the hard drive completely with zeros then partitioning. Go here and download version 1.3.4 or 1.3.5, burn to CD at slow rate (no more than 8X). SystemRescueCD has all you need to do a clean install.

Would suggest you try the latest i386 version of Xange (info here, as well.
