installing noarch rpm on ppc architecture hardware
i have generated noarch rpm on opensuse machine and i am getting an error=> unpacking of archive failed : cpio: badmagic while i am trying to install the rpm on ppc windriver hardware.how to fix the error
Distribution: PCLinuxOS2023 Fedora38 + 50+ other Linux OS, for test only.

Welcome to LQ.
The latest Suse versions use lzma compression for rpm packages.
And :
There have often been issues unpacking (older) Suse rpms on a different Linux OS.
A Suse 12.1 package should work, if "the other OS" has a late lzma supported rpm.
