Installing mplayer gui problem with font
when I run gmplayer I get: New Face failed, please supply text font file(~/.mplayer/subfont.tff

Go to the mplayer homepage and pick up a font package, extract it to ~/.mplayer/

You can also copy any truetype font to ~/.mplayer and name it subfont.ttf.
