Installing Modem Driver to use with Live CDs?

I want to try out some various Distributions by using a Live CD, but almost all of them don't let me connect to the internet via dial-up modem without installing an ESS driver (which I have). The only one that does out of the box is PuppyLinux (surprising, for a tiny distro). It's hard to try out distros for any period of time when I can't get an internet connection. Is there any way for me to connect while still using the Live CD?

I'm trying out OpenSUSE 11.1, by the way. It has wvdial installed to let me connect, I just need the driver (I think).

Live CD's contain some basic packages to load on to the memory and RUN. Even it has a large libraries in it, they may or maynot be loaded on the memory. Because LIVE CD restricts to load only limited packages to load. You can't decide , without installing. Bettor go for DVD package distributions, it contains all the libraries you need to connect internet.
