Installing Marvell 88E8001 Drivers
 

I am a real newbie and I am not really sure on how to go about locating and installing drivers.

I have installed Fedora Core 4 on my machine and chosen the Gnome desktop configuration. Mostly every aspect of my hardware has been installed except the sound card and network card. I am not too concerned about the sound card at this point, but would really like to get the network card sorted out.

My main board is an ASUS A8V Deluxe Socket 939 motherboard, the sound card and network card are built into the board. The network card is a Marvell 88E8001 Gigabit Ethernet Controller. Can anyone tell me where I can get the correct drivers for this and how to install them.

not to sure if this will work but you can try

from a terminal , mines a marvel as well, worked great in debian, but i had to do that for latest knoppix, and a few other distos
