I am using FC5 and Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.1
I want to install the Macromedia Flash Player.I downloaded it and installed in the Firefox 1.5.0.1 directory. But when I open the browser and if a site contains a flash, it fails to show and the browser says "Missing Plugins".How to install Flash Player?
One more thing: How to update Firefox in Linux. It is not updated automatically as in Windows.
If you want to install a new version of Firefox just download it from mozilla.com. To view website with Flash you need to click the "missing plugins" bar on the top.

Hi sumitk,
have you got it work?
I have same problem with you (with FC5 and Frefox 1.5.0.1). I have tried many ways but have no luck yet.
Thanks,
Hey I followed those steps over and the installer still didn't recogonize the flash plugin. I ended up figuring it out by going to a site... but they aren't letting me post it... so I can tell you its off easylinux dot info under an application called Fedora Frog. Once I got this application and followed their steps I got the new flash to work great on FC5.
OS: FC5
Home: Mozilla Firefox:1.5.0.4
CPU: i386
I have gotten so much help in the past, i figured I'd throw my sucess out there for who ever wants it.
