Installing linux on MAC OS X - Lion

I can install Linux in Windows, but can it be done on MAC OS X - Lion? I am trying to learn before I burn.

If you mean to use WUBI installer, no, it is not for OS X. You can run linux in a virtual machine (I use VMWare Fusion) or you can use bootcamp to set it up.

^ virtualized is one way or you can run native (dual boot or live-usb).
