Installing Linux on Acer Aspire E15

I recently bought an Acer Aspire E15 and my intention now is to install Windows 7 next to linux KDE.
I have done this before on my old Laptop and it worked very well.
With some trouble I was now able to install Windows 7 but linux does not work. I am not even able to start the linux live CD.

The linux CD boots and I can choose, beyond others, to use linux live or install

What ever I choose it seem to load first & then end up in with some lines of a code & then asking for the localhost login & a password.

Does anyone have a clue what to do?

Welcome to LQ.

As Keruskerfuest has mentioned, more detail would be useful.

I am assuming that W7 was already installed on this Acer Aspire E15 when you bought it?

Windows should always be installed first, before adding Linux.

I know from experience that in order to make modifications to the Setup/BIOS on certain Acer machines, it is necessary to set a temporary Supervisor password.

Don't forget to remove it afterwards.
