Question Installing Linux by a Window User


Hi
I use windows xp. I installed linux red hat v9.2 successfully. My problem is that I do not know how to get the linux desktop to operate it.
Secondly how can I get to shell prompt ? This cocept is strange to me. I need your help pls

this doesn't sound like the kind of thing to have a poll in...

If I am understanding you correctly you want to control Windows XP using Linux and you are wondering how to get to the Windows shell prompt...Well if you aren't running virtual machines you can't run Windows and Linux on the same machine at the same time.

Perhaps you should try to clarify your question...(and take away the poll as it just adds to the confusion...)
